A veteran of the U.S. Navy and a Distinguished Alumni of Texas A&M University Commerce, Dan Bobst launched TrendHR as a traditional staffing firm focused on temporary and direct-hire placement. A reputation for hands-on customer service fueled steady referral growth, and in 2001 he took the company into the Professional Employer Organization (PEO) space giving small and mid-sized businesses access to the kind of off-site HR department that large corporations take for granted.

In 2005, Dan expanded the TrendHR companies again, adding HR consulting and outsourcing alongside health insurance benefits, workplace safety programs, and property & casualty insurance. By bundling these services under one roof, TrendHR delivers them through economies of scale at a fraction of the cost of managing separate vendors for each program.

Under Dan's leadership, TrendHR has administered more than 500,000 W-2s across its history in business. His Dallas and East Texas roots have kept the company growing largely through satisfied-customer referrals, with deep specialization in the home health care, restaurant, and home services industries. These are sectors where TrendHR helps employers offer benefits, retirement packages, and an HR department that rivals a Fortune 500 company, without the overhead.

Beyond TrendHR, DW Bobst is an active real estate developer in North Texas. His projects include Trend Tower in Rockwall where TrendHR serves as the anchor tenant along with Eagle Point Estates, Bobst Farms, and several other ventures in and around the region.
